Justin and I have decided to take the leap - we are now bloggers. Please be patient with us as we learn how to make the most out of our new blog site.
The latest. Well, we go to the doctor today for a routine check-up to make sure that Abigail and I are healthy, and that we are making the necessary progress for delivery. This will be our first visit to our new doctor's office. The practice we were going to dissolved for various reasons, and we chose to follow two of the doctor's to a new practice. The new practice is called Mid-Carolina OBGYN. It has been around for 25 years, and come's highly recommended. There are 5 doctor's already practicing there, so our prayer is that on delivery day one of the two doctor's from Women's Healthcare of Raleigh will be on call. But...the Lord knows all of the details, and we trust that His will is best.
We celebrated Justin's first Father's Day on Sunday. It's hard to believe that in less than 5 weeks we will be parents - for real! The count down begins.
On Friday, Justin finished The Runner's Camp at North Wake Church. This is the fifth camp he has directed since we have been in Wake Forest, and with the quickly approaching arrival of Abigail, it will be his last. We couldn't have asked for a better week. There were a record number of kids signed up for the camp (250), the weather was beautiful (70's and 80's) and the Lord provided all of the volunteer's needed to run the camp. So far, we have not heard how the Lord chose to use The Runner's Camp in the lives of the campers and volunteer's, but are confident in His promise to "not let His Word return void."
